About us

Established in 1987, California Styles was a small business started by Jesus and Barbara Alvarez, serving the borderland and provided excellent, personalized service to people from El Paso and surrounding areas. They have also participated in many different events throughout the city and were considered the pioneers of the original “Zoot suit.” 
 
After many years of dedication and hard work, the Alvarez’s retired and sold the business to Juan Gonzalez. He rebranded the name to Legacy Tuxedo Formal Wear.  
 
In 2023, under new management from Jesus Sanchez and Jesus Marquez, Legacy Tuxedo strives to give the best personalized service, with the utmost quality, and affordable prices to our clientele for any of their events or special occasions.
